When we witness someone else transforming, evolving, maturing, it does something to us... we get the signal that it's okay, and even life-affirming to change. In watching others grow, we are given another model and road map to use in our own personal growth journey. β£β£

I used to have a real block around sharing my successes and blooming because I felt like it was inconsiderate to shine if others weren't feeling bright. I would share plenty of my hardships and struggles because I felt it was more humble than sharing how great things were for me (the ego can work up some interesting schemes to get attention and validation!) I also had lots of self-worth stuff to work through to get past this feeling of "I don't deserve to be celebrated or even acknowledged for my achievements." Now, on the other side of that (for the most part), I see that I was withholding myself from the world, that I was making the world dimmer by keeping my light mostly to myself and only sharing the darker hues. What good does that do? Not much.β£ β£

Now I know that my growth gives someone out there permission to grow too. And my own blooming has been inspired and informed by countless others who have generously shared their tender, fierce, beautifully messy and non-linear journeys before and alongside me. In that spirit, I feel compelled to continue sharing my unfoldment so that it may catalyze someone elseβs journey to deepen. β£
